  Fünf Jahre nach ihrer Gründung setzt Discover Airlines mit der größten Investition ihrer Firmengeschichte ein klares Signal für die Zukunft: Die Langstreckenflotte – insgesamt 16 Airbus A330-300 – wird mit einer komplett neuen Kabine ausgestattet.

  Der Ferienflieger der Lufthansa Group wurde erstmals von der international anerkannten Ratingagentur Skytrax auditiert – und direkt mit der 4-Sterne-Bewertung in der Kategorie Leisure Airline ausgezeichnet. Damit erreicht die junge Airline auf Anhieb die zweithöchste Einstufung der Branche – derzeit gibt es in dieser Kategorie keine Airline mit einer höheren Bewertung.

  

• Discover Airlines erstmalig in Alta, Norwegen, gelandet

  Am 04. Dezember ist Discover Airlines erstmals von Frankfurt nach Alta (ALF) in Norwegen abgehoben. Der fast ausgebuchte Airbus A320 mit der Flugnummer 4Y1302 landete nach einer Flugzeit von rund dreieinhalb Stunden pünktlich am Flughafen Alta.

  

• Santa Seat: Discover Airlines bringt Weihnachtsstimmung an Bord

  An Bord von Discover Airlines zieht über die Adventszeit ein besonderer Sitzplatz ein: der Santa Seat. Im Dezember vergibt die Crew des Ferienfliegers per Zufallsprinzip auf jedem Flug einen Santa Seat in der Economy Class.

This week, we celebrated the launch of our new Ocean Blue cabin, which will be introduced across all 16 of our Airbus A330-300 starting in spring 2027 ✈️ So we’ll need to be a little patient—but fortunately, our colleagues already had the chance to experience the new cabin firsthand during a presentation and interactive workshops 😊⁣ ⁣ A highlight was the Crafting Hub, where the new design became truly tangible.
